Our historical evolutionAlexandre Fichet, locksmith artisan, settled in a small factory in Paris in 1825. After four years of effort he created a revolutionary security lock.
In 1840 Fichet created its first fireproof safe.
In 1864 Auguste Nicholas Bauche built the first safe production factory, near Reims (France). One hundred years later, Fichet and Bauche merged and became the major European security sepcialist group.
Fichet established its branch in Spain in 1918, and currently is the biggest in the group.
In May 1999, the Swedish Gunnebo Group, owner of Rosengrens and Garny companies in Germany, acquired Fichet-Bauche.
Nowadays, Fichet-Bauche counts on 20 of its own delegations in Spain, has sale points all over Europe and counts on more than 70 exclusive agents in the rest of the world.
